Growing a garden in the West End

This is the start of a flower garden in the west end of Adelaide.

This was put up a few days ago as the start of a bid to brighten up the west end of Adelaide with a meandering flower patch.

Putting up the Petals in the CBD

A crazy week in the studios printing all sorts of wonderful ideas and finally having a few things work. I also found time to brighten up the streets and well posts of Adelaide CBD. Scattered in a few niche places the flowers have been popping up some vanish as fast as I put them up. So you need to be quick to see one and take a selfie.

Welcome to the Great Adelaide Flower Hunt. This page and blog is devoted to an interactive art installation based in Adelaide designed to brighten your day and get you involved in our community.
These brightly coloured flowers are hand screen printed and stuck around the streets of Adelaide and some of the surrounding suburbs. 

The photos are taken with little hints to the whereabouts of the flowers or clues are in the photo captions, a few easy ones first. As we approach the winter and lose our abundant blue skies these flowers are designed to catch your eye and make you smile. 

They have been labelled with the blog address to ignite your curiosity and encourage you to check it out. Then find yourself a flower and take a selfie with it or something you like near by.

As an interactive project this is time to share that gem of a coffee shop or show everyone your piece of local street art, lets share and go local!

Escaping from a tunnel

This is a fun area featuring a train station, a park and a street of delicious shops. The flowers are dotted around and a flower flyer is situated in the tunnel. Can you guess where these are?

Flowering further down the road.

Blurred photos quickly taken on the run hide some of the clues that might give away the main road these are situated on. This runs off near North Adelaide and has some really cool stuff on it. Especially this bike that has a sign inviting you to honk your heart out. What Fun!!!
